The main attractions are the famous Blowhole, Minnamurra Rainforest and Jamberoo Wildlife Sanctuary \u2013 all within easy reach of Sydney. The village is cute, the scenery is amazing and the food delicious. It\u2019s also a great place to meet people as everyone is always friendly. There\u2019s a great selection of restaurants too so you can have your pick of cuisine options.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Perfect for a day trip if you&#8217;re based in the city, or a weekend. Once in the car park there is a sign mapping out the 3 lookouts. One up the hill, one to the left and one to the right. The one up the hill is blocked by trees so not worth the treck. The one to the left is not well signed posted but walk down a grassy hill and enter a path at the bottom that leads you into a tree covered path for about 5 min. While this view is lovely the best and easily accessible lookout is the one directly off the car park to the right. Cathedral Rocks, has lured sightseers since 1890. These volcanic rocks, while intensely hard, have many joints. These joints have been eroded over the years, leaving these mysterious rock formations. The rocks may be viewed from Cliff Drive or studied from close range by approaching from the north. These rocks are a photographer&#8217;s delight!<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-6c79b2c elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"6c79b2c\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-3e5b207\" data-id=\"3e5b207\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-005c8aa elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"005c8aa\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Crookhaven Heads Lighthouse<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-50d684d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"50d684d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">looking for a quick walk and not afraid of steps then take a pretty walk up to the now disused Crookhaven Lighthouse. Overlooking the rocks at low tide, clear views from Orient Point, Greenwall Point, Seven Mile Beach through to Penguin Head. Lots of rock fishing happening during low tide.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The original Crookhaven Heads Lighthouse was constructed of timber in 1882 and located as part of the Shoalhaven Signal Station on the beach 200 metres to the west of the current lighthouse. The new brick lighthouse to the south of the mouth of the Shoalhaven River was commissioned in 1904 and the old wooden lighthouse was immediately demolished.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kiama is a seaside town with white sandy beaches and rolling surf that attracts people from all over Australia.
